Vangard is a 42 inch laminate shingle that meets the UL2218 Class 4 Impact Resistance Standard.

It is composed of a ultra strong fibreglass mat coated on both sides with elastomeric modified asphalt and surfaced with mineral granules. Vanguard 42 IR is covered by a Lifetime Warranty. Its standard wind Warranty covers up to 180 km/hr (110 mph) and its High Wind Warranty covers up to 220 km/hr (135 mph) as per special application instructions.
