    3.4. Custom Advertising Audiences

    3.4.1. We never sell or transfer personally identifiable information to third parties outside of Building Products of Canada Corp. and its certified roofers.

    3.4.2. While, as a general rule, BP never discloses personal information to anyone, it may, however, request that this be done to create ‘lookalike’ custom advertising audiences using Meta platforms (Facebook Ads), Google, and other social media, in order to target anonymous profiles that share similarities with our own customer base but where the data does not allow for the personal identification of individuals. Once we have created custom data audiences (that do not allow for the personal identification of individuals), we subsequently delete the data.

    3.4.3. We may also utilize socio-demographic and interest-based targeting offered by advertising platforms themselves, as well as keyword and content targeting (which do not require the use of data collected on BP’s website).

    3.4.4. BP may disclose personal information in certain circumstances if we have reason to believe that the disclosure of such information is necessary to identify, contact, or bring legal action against any person who may (intentionally or unintentionally) be attacking or harming the rights or property of BP, other users of the website, or any other person who may be harmed by such activities.
