Job Summary :

Sales Administration-Finance is responsible for the administration and financial impacts of all contract and pricing related matters in Canada, the United States and overseas. Working closely with Finance and Sales & Marketing; its principal functions are maintaining and executing the terms and conditions of customer agreements. This involves providing information for strategic decision making on negotiations, budgets, forecasts; as well as, the verification/validation of pricing transactions, rebates, year-ends and other credits. The group is also responsible for ensuring that company pricing policies and best pricing practices are followed; and, provides analytical support to stakeholders within the company.

Responsibilities and tasks :

  • Assess financial impacts of B2B contract negotiations;
  • Assess financial implications of commercial budgets;
  • Review and maintain product and customer margin/profitability assessments;
  • Validate/verify payment of rebates, year-end and other discounts on a monthly, yearly or other time sensitive period;
  • Provide monthly reporting and variance analysis for senior management;
  • Maintain and validate pricing programs and lists;
  • Provide analytical support to finance, warranty and sales & marketing;
  • Provide reporting support to external entities.

We are looking for someone with the following skills:

  • Extremely detail oriented; and, extremely well organized;
  • Analytical mind, good problem solver, has aptitude for mathematics;
  • High level of integrity and rigour in performing assignments;
  • Excellent knowledge of MS-Excel is mandatory, very comfortable working in the Microsoft Office environment;
  • Dedicated, works very well under pressure and tight deadlines;
  • Dynamic self-starter, use “common sense” to resolve problems & can work with minimal supervision;
  • Excellent team player and communicator;
  • MUST be bilingual (read, write, conversed);
  • Bachelor Admin or certificate in administration.
